Tiltmeters
Structural Health Monitoring is a diverse way of monitoring a variety of different structures. From Bridges, Tunnels, High Rise Buildings, Dams, Rail Lines, Water Tanks & Silos, Heritage buildings and Docks the applications for Structural Health Monitoring are endless.
Being able to accurately measure the Static and Dynamic changes on structures enables engineers to accurately measure the expected lifespans of their structures and any on-going or immediate repair works required.

Tiltmeters
Tiltmeters are high-end devices used to measure the inclination of structures at the point of installation taking the gravitational axis as a reference.
The measurement carried out is static, for the slowest, least energetic movements.
By positioning several units along a structure, it is possible to measure static deformation even at slow rates of movement.
Tiltmeters are used on Structures such as:
- Bridges
- High Rise Buildings
- Dams
- Tanks
- Docks
An example of this slow rate static movement is the ability to detect the inclination of a viaduct under a heavy stationary load or detect the tendency of a building to tilt forward or backward.
Just like the DECK Sensors the Tiltmeters also have a temperature sensor on board and transmit all data via LoRaWAN Transmission with a 2-year battery life.
Structural Health Monitoring systems are vastly cheaper than conventional methods of on-site monitoring or expensive interferometric radar monitoring. Even when compared against earlier generations of wireless Structural Health Monitoring our systems come in vastly cheaper by using a lot less sensors. The less sensors required the less money involved for monitoring structures.
Our revolutionary sensors allow the monitoring of a variety of different data sets as well as temperature and wind speeds.
